We are small, and there is nothing open right now.

That is the honest version. Here is what we are, and what would make us want to talk anyway.

What Identium is

An iPhone app that identifies plants from a photo, works out what is going wrong with them, and turns that into a care schedule for the species rather than a generic weekly reminder. It runs in 10 languages, is free to start, and is built on a small stack: SwiftUI on the front, a Cloudflare Worker in front of the AI providers, and a static site you are reading right now.

No open roles

We are not going to list positions we are not hiring for. There is no headcount, no recruitment pipeline, and no HR department behind this page. When that changes, it will be listed here and the date will be on it.

What we would still like to hear about

If any of the following is true, write anyway and we will read it properly.

  • You know plants better than we do. Botany, horticulture, plant pathology, extension work. We write a lot about plant care and we would rather have someone qualified tell us where we have it wrong. Paid review of specific articles is something we would genuinely consider.
  • You have found a real problem. A bug, a security issue in the backend, a misidentification the app makes consistently, or a factual error in an article. That is more useful than a CV and it is the best introduction there is.
  • You build iOS apps. SwiftUI, StoreKit, on-device inference. No promises, but we would like to know you exist.
  • You translate. The app ships in 10 languages and some of those translations could be better, particularly the plant care terminology.

What we are not looking for

  • Agencies, outsourcing firms and recruiters. These go straight to the bin, sorry.
  • Guest posts and link exchanges. The blog is written in house and we do not sell links.
  • Generic applications sent to a hundred companies. We can tell, and so can you.

Email job@identium.app. Tell us what you would want to work on and why, and link to something you have made. Short is fine. There is no form, no tracking system, and no automated rejection.
