By downloading or using the app, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do
not use the app.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By downloading, installing or using Identium (the “Application”), you accept
and agree to be bound by these Terms. When using particular services within the Application,
you are also subject to any posted guidelines or rules applicable to those services.
Identium was previously published as Plantium. These Terms apply to both names and replace
the earlier Terms of Use published for Plantium.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 16 years old, or the age of majority in your region if that is higher,
to use the Application. If you are under that age, you may use it only with verifiable consent
from a parent or guardian.
3. Description of Service
The Application provides AI-powered plant identification, disease diagnosis, care
recommendations and related content. Features may include a personalisation quiz, daily tips,
care reminders, image-based analysis, a garden and wishlist, and subscription-based premium
access.
4. Your Information
- You may provide profile details such as name, city, birth year and zodiac sign to
personalise your results. There are no accounts and no passwords.
- You are responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide and for any activity
arising from your use of the Application.
5. Data, Privacy and Consent
- AI features and analytics rely on sharing data, including photos and profile or quiz
information, with third-party processors (Google Gemini, Replicate, Firebase and RevenueCat)
for functionality, analytics, crash reporting and billing.
- You must explicitly consent in-app before any of that data is shared. You can withdraw
consent in Profile > Privacy; some features will be unavailable without it.

6. Subscriptions and Billing
- Premium features are offered as auto-renewing subscriptions through Apple’s App
Store and are handled by Apple. Pricing and terms are shown at the time of purchase.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID account at confirmation of purchase.
- Your subscription renews automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end
of the current period, and your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours prior to the
end of that period.
- Manage or cancel subscriptions in your Apple ID settings. Refunds are handled under
Apple’s policies. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a
subscription.
- If entitlement verification fails, for example because of a network problem, premium
access may be temporarily unavailable until validation succeeds.
7. User Content and Conduct
- Do not upload unlawful, infringing, harmful or abusive content.
- Do not attempt to reverse engineer, scrape or interfere with the Application or its
services, or access our backend other than through the Application itself.
- You keep ownership of the photographs you take. You grant us a limited licence to use
the images and inputs you submit solely to provide the features you requested.
8. AI Output and Accuracy
- Identifications, diagnoses, care plans and tips are AI-generated outputs and may be
inaccurate or incomplete.
- Do not rely on the Application for safety-critical decisions. That
includes deciding whether a plant is safe to eat, safe to touch, or safe for a child or an
animal, and any medical, veterinary or financial decision. Misidentification is possible.
Consult a qualified professional before acting.
- Treatment suggestions may involve products that are harmful if misused. Always follow the
manufacturer’s label and local regulations.
9. Notifications and Device Permissions
- Camera and photo library access are used for the image-based features.
- Push and local notifications are used for care reminders and updates. You can disable
them in your device settings at any time.
10. Third-Party Services
The Application integrates with Google Gemini, Replicate, Firebase (Analytics, Crashlytics
and Remote Config) and RevenueCat for billing. Your use of those services is subject to their
own terms and privacy practices where applicable.
11. Intellectual Property
All Application content, code and branding are owned by the developer or its licensors and
are protected by copyright, trademark and other intellectual property laws. You may not reuse
or resell the Application or its outputs other than for personal use.
12. Termination
- We may suspend or terminate access for violations of these Terms or misuse of the
service.
- You may stop using the Application at any time. Deleting the app does not cancel
a subscription — cancel it in your Apple ID settings.
13. Disclaimers
The Application is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or
implied, including fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy or reliability. We do not warrant
uninterrupted or error-free operation.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect, incidental, special,
consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, profits, goodwill or plants,
arising from your use of the Application.
15. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of your country or state of residence, except where
preempted by mandatory local law.
16. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated in-app or
in the update notes. Continued use after a change constitutes acceptance.
